Exercise your right to erasure under GDPR and CCPA

Under the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) Article 17 — Right to Erasure — and the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) Section 1798.105, you have the right to request the deletion of your personal data held by Llewellyn Systems Inc. This page explains how to submit a data deletion request and what to expect during the process.
Who Can Request Deletion
You may submit a data deletion request if you are:
- A resident of the European Economic Area (EEA) or United Kingdom, exercising your rights under GDPR Article 17
- A California resident, exercising your rights under CCPA Section 1798.105 and CPRA amendments
- A user of any ODE platform product (ODE-LOS, ODE Connect, ODE Meridian, ODE Boutique Equity, SHANGO, or any other Llewellyn Systems service)
- Any individual whose personal data has been collected by Llewellyn Systems Inc., regardless of jurisdiction
How to Submit a Data Deletion Request
To request deletion of your personal data, please send an email to legal@llewellynsystems.com with the following information:

Scope of Deletion
Specify what data you want deleted:
- All personal data — Complete deletion of all personal information associated with your account
- Specific categories — Please specify which categories (e.g., account profile data, usage analytics, communication records, financial data, location data)
Legal Basis
State the legal basis for your request:
- GDPR Article 17 — Right to Erasure (EU/UK residents)
- CCPA Section 1798.105 — Right to Delete (California residents)
- Other applicable data protection law (please specify)
Processing Timeline
Acknowledgment
We will acknowledge receipt of your request within 3 business days.
Identity Verification
We will verify your identity to ensure the request is legitimate. We may ask you to confirm your email address or provide additional identifying information.
Processing
Your request will be processed within 30 days of receipt, as permitted under GDPR. Under CCPA, we have 45 days. If we require additional time due to the complexity of the request, we will notify you of an extension of up to 30 additional days (60 days total for GDPR, 90 days total for CCPA).
Confirmation
Once deletion is complete, we will send you a confirmation email. We will also direct our service providers and third parties who received your data to delete it.
Data Retention Exceptions
Please be aware that certain data may be retained even after a deletion request is processed. Under both GDPR and CCPA, we may retain data when necessary for:
- Legal obligations — Tax records, financial transaction records, and other data we are legally required to maintain
- Fraud prevention — Data necessary to detect, prevent, and investigate security incidents or fraudulent activity
- Exercising legal claims — Data necessary for the establishment, exercise, or defense of legal claims
- Contractual obligations — Data necessary to complete a transaction or fulfill an ongoing contractual relationship
- Regulatory compliance — Data required by industry-specific regulations (e.g., financial services, SEC reporting)
If any portion of your data must be retained, we will inform you of the specific categories retained, the legal basis for retention, and the expected retention period.
GDPR Article 17 — Right to Erasure
Under GDPR, you have the right to request erasure of your personal data when:
- The data is no longer necessary for the purpose it was collected
- You withdraw consent and there is no other legal basis for processing
- You object to processing and there are no overriding legitimate grounds
- The data has been unlawfully processed
- The data must be erased to comply with a legal obligation
- The data was collected in relation to the offer of information society services to a child
CCPA Section 1798.105 — Right to Delete
Under the California Consumer Privacy Act and its amendments (CPRA), California residents have the right to request that a business delete any personal information about the consumer that the business has collected. Upon receiving a verifiable consumer request, we will delete your personal information from our records and direct our service providers to do the same, subject to the exceptions outlined above.
